Why Do My Lights Keep Flickering?
No need to worry because the issue may be more straightforward than you may think. Usually, the flickering pattern of your lights can help you diagnose the underlying issue. When investigating the problem, look out for patterns such as when the flickering happens, the typical duration, and frequency of occurrence.

Then give us a call and we can come troubleshoot the problem!

Why Are My Electrical Outlets Not Working?
A common reason outlets stop working is that they are exposed to a power surge and are switched off by a circuit breaker. In the case of a GFCI outlet, they are switched off at the source. This is an easy problem to fix.

First, identify the outlet or area of outlets that are not working. If a surge happens in a kitchen, all outlets may be tripped. If a surge happens outside, some interior outlets may be tripped as well. It might take some searching to find the dead outlet in your home. Once you’ve found the dead outlet, take a closer look at it. On a GFCI outlet, there will be a reset button which is usually red. If it is sticking out, then it is tripped.

To turn your outlet back on, simply press the reset button until you hear a click sound. Your outlet should then be working like normal! Test it out by plugging in an appliance or other electrical device.

Why Are My Electrical Receptacles Warm?
While it may not seem like a big deal, warm receptacles need IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. It’s important to stop plugging anything into that particular receptacle and check others in the room for heat/burn marks.

Calling a residential lighting repair company that has the knowledge and equipment to quickly resolve the problem is crucial given that faulty receptacles can start a house fire and result in serious damage to your home and your loved ones.

Why Do I Hear An Electrical Outlet Buzzing?

Most of the time, buzzing outlets are likely the result of shoddy wiring, which could lead to a short circuit in your power supply. In addition, a loose connection could generate an occasional buzzing sound inside the wall of your residential or commercial property. This article will discuss the potential issues causing an electrical outlet to buzz and vibrate in the wall.

Other reasons could include:

  1. Loose Connections
  2. Electrical Panel Trouble
  3. Temperature Change
  4. Mains Hum
  5. Circuit Breaker is Overloaded
  6. Other non-electrical causes
